Background Information


  • On September 4th, 2011, during trainboy54's comeback as "thenewtrainboy54," Ben Ackley, CEO of Ackley Attack Inc., announced that Ackley Attack Pictures is teaming up with Trainboy54 Productions, under their motion picture company name, "Trainboy54 Films," are in stages of developing on the movie with Ben Ackley, voice actor for "TOMY/Trackmaster T&F," writing the script.
    • The Original Plot for this movie is going to be about Thomas having a runaway with the freight cars and gets hit by another steam engine, and then, he wakes up wearing a knights costume and ends up in a medieval-looking Sodor and Thomas is off on an adventure of a lifetime.
    • On August 13, 2012, it has been reported on Thomas & Friends: Island of Sodor Adventures' official facebook page that the script for the movie has been completed.
  • The official teaser trailer for the movie is posted onto Thomas & Friends: Island of Sodor Adventures' official facebook page on July 28, 2012. The teaser trailer was then, posted onto trainboy54's YouTube channel on Tuesday, August 20, 2013.
    • On Sunday, December 2, 2012, an album on Thomas & Friends: Island of Sodor Adventures' official facebook page entitled "Danville Locos in Costume for 'Sodor Knights'" was posted to show sneek peaks of Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, Candace, Stacy and Vanessa in their costumes for the movie.
    • On Monday, August 19, 2013, a teaser poster has been released onto Thomas & Friends: Island of Sodor Adventures' official facebook page that shows Isabella as The Good-Witch, Isabella in her eyeball with The Yellow Sidewalk from "Wizard of Odd" and a gradient shot of Tidmouth Sheds.


  • The movie was scheduled to be released around Late-August of 2013, but that following month, the film got a delay due to other projects to work on. Ben Ackley later announced that the movie is currently under development hell and the release date for the movie will be announced once the movie will almost be 100% complete.

  • Jumanji (1995 film) - The opening prologue of the movie is based off on the same opening prologue as the 1995 film adaptation of Chris Van Allsburg's "Jumanji," directed by Joe Johnston.
  • The Polar Express (2004 film) - The song, "Calliope's Hand" is based off on the main theme song to The Polar Express.
  • The Suite Life on Deck - On where Phineas said that he shunted freight cars full of liquid soap is a lot like when Zack Martin filled the S.S. Tipton's horn full of liquid soap in the episode, "Bon Voyage!"
  • Annie (1999 film) - When Candace was singing "Tomorrow", she was singing it just like Alicia Morton did in the 1999 Disney version of "Annie."
  • Disney's Brother Bear - The song "On My Way" is based off on the song, "On My Way," from the Disney movie, "Brother Bear."

  • Phineas and Ferb - The flashback scene where Percy and Spencer have a giant robot battle is similar to the robot battle that Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Agent P had in the episode, "A Hard Day's Knight."
